Learning Experience Design
Designing meaningful learning experiences that enable growth and performance
Effective learning goes beyond delivering information. It requires intentional design, meaningful practice, and experiences that enable continuous growth.
As an educator and researcher, I explore how psychology and pedagogy can shape more effective learning experiences.
Researcher — Personality as a Predictor of Healthy and Sustainable Music Study Habits
Applying psychology and behavioural science to learning design
My master's research explores how individual differences influence learning behaviours and the development of sustainable practice habits.
By examining the relationship between personality, motivation, and learning processes, the research aims to understand how learning environments can better support individual development.
Key areas:
Exploring how personality influences learning behaviours and habits
Applying psychological insights to educational practice
Developing evidence-informed approaches to sustainable learning
Translating research into practical strategies for educators and learners
Educator — The Little Violin Studio
Designing personalised learning experiences for individual development
Through my private teaching practice, I design personalised learning experiences adapted to the needs, goals, and development stages of each learner.
My approach combines structured progression, reflective practice, feedback, and learner autonomy to help students develop both technical skills and the ability to guide their own improvement.
Key areas:
Designing individual learning pathways based on learner needs and goals
Adapting teaching strategies to different personalities, abilities, and learning styles
Creating structured practice approaches that encourage independence
Integrating feedback and reflection into the learning process
My Approach to Learning Experience Design
Designing learning around the person, not only the content.
The strongest learning experiences are those that connect knowledge with practice, reflection, and meaningful application.
My approach is built around three principles:
Start with the learner
Understanding individual differences, motivations, and challenges allows learning experiences to become more relevant and effective.
Combine structure with autonomy
People need clear guidance and support, but also opportunities to take ownership of their development.
Design for lasting capability
The goal of learning is not only acquiring knowledge, but developing the ability to continue learning independently.
My experience as an educator and researcher has shaped my belief that effective learning experiences are built when psychology, pedagogy, and intentional design come together.
